Politics of Taste. Beverage Narratives. Future Framing
About Me
How I think
How I work
Divina Sips is a practice focused on understanding how hospitality, food and beverages operate as cultural language.
My work sits at the intersection of taste, power and everyday ritual — exploring how choices around food and drink shape perception, identity and long-term relevance.
My background combines political science, international business risk and over a decade of experience in hospitality, events and beverage culture.
This allows me to approach hospitality not only as an industry, but as a system of signals, relationships and decisions.
Why Politics of Taste?
I work through the lens of the politics of taste — the idea that food, beverages and hospitality are never neutral.
They communicate values, hierarchy, inclusion and intent, often more clearly than words.
Today, my work spans strategy, training, writing and applied experiences, supporting brands, institutions and professionals in navigating cultural complexity and future-facing change within hospitality and beverage cultures.

Divina Sips brings together observation, analysis and practice — translating taste into insight and hospitality into meaning.
