For over a decade, I have worked at the intersection of hospitality, beverages and cultural meaning, navigating the gastronomic field from concept development and menu design to branding, training and strategic framing.
My background and certifications in beverage culture and pairing inform a practice rooted not only in taste, but in understanding how food and drink communicate — across cultures, contexts and moments in time.
My work with water, sake and other often-overlooked beverage categories has been particularly formative.
Today, through consulting, training, writing and field-based research, I work to translate taste into insight, and hospitality into meaning.
